Bachelor of Design with Honours
This project is an assessment, celebration, and critique of the country. It is a book born from the feeling that the country is at a stage of newfound comfort within itself, its peoples, and its society. It endorses the idea of extending short term discussion into meaningful long-term conversation within Aotearoa and recognising the overt juxtapositions between how we present ourselves and what truly goes on inside the coastal borders of this country. This project has not set out with the goal of changing anyone’s minds or attacking any point of views, but it is intending to create the opportunity for engagement, confrontation and discussion around topics that usually don’t get enough breathing room to last. This project is for Aotearoa and not against it.
