As part of our extended Exposure programme we offer an opportunity for our valued alumni to return as guests of Massey University. It’s a chance to catch up with old classmates, make new acquaintances and take a look at the creative work of the graduates of 2020.

 

Refreshments will be available in Tussock Cafe before guided exhibition tours commence.

Music Showcase

Starts 6.30pm

This event showcases graduating student performances. The event is supported by Industry students, and also features a technology showcase featuring new music equipment designed by students.

Tickets are free on arrival. Numbers limited to venue capacity.

Exposure Fashion Show

Fashion Design graduates showcase their work in four fashion shows across two days—from the programme that launched the careers of Kate Sylvester, Rebecca Taylor and Kathryn Wilson.

 

This is a popular show so be quick to secure your tickets.

 

Doors open with a cash bar 30 minutes prior to the show commencing.

This is the perfect inspiring beginning or conclusion for your visit to our Spatial, Industrial, Visual Communication Design, Textiles, Fashion or Photography exhibits.

Teacher workshops

Come and get your hands dirty and your creative hearts inspired at Massey College of Creative Arts Workshop day for teachers.

 

Choose two workshops, one in the morning, one in the afternoon.

 

We'll supply lunch, and you'll be able to see all the fabulous student work at Exposure Graduate Exhibition He Kanohi Kitea while you are here.

 

Workshops

Photography: A panel of practising photographers present and talk about their work.

Creative Media on a budget: A survey of available tools, and techniques for engaging students in creative media projects with a limited budget. 

Get to know your laser cutter : Creative ways to use 2D laser cutting to create 3D forms and other tips from the 3D workshop.

Character design: Digitally sculpt your way to concept design for games and film.

Creative Māori students succeeding as Māori: A presentation of inspirational te ao Māori art and design projects and career stories to share with your students.
