Bachelor of Design with Honours
Elision is an immersive and intuitive language learning platform that aims to help individuals improve their pronunciation. It is designed for visual learners who have trouble recognising the characteristics of pronunciation audibly. I have designed a visual system that represents elements of sound through 3D animated forms. For the purpose of this project, I have developed a visual system for Mandarin as it is a tonal language that greatly relies on pronunciation for effective communication.
