This project is a spatial audio experience positioned within a transformative dining experience that connects people through virtual soundscapes. I am exploring the use of binaural audio to create a soundscape that will allow a person access to an experience that simulates what it is like to be seated at my family dining table.The project is inspired from the phenomena of globally dispersed families that need a reconnection to home. The project recognises the power of sound to bridge this distance and trigger as sense of belonging or being welcomed into a very intimate private space.
