‘Living Buildings’ are sustainable and biophilic dwellings based on current best practice guidelines. This research proposes further development in the areas where daily routines and rituals are experienced and applies this to the ‘Zero Energy House’ at Point Chevalier, Auckland.
This interior-based rework draws on natural phenomena qualities to overhaul spaces utilised during daily interaction to forge a greater connection between both dweller and the natural environment.
