‘Dancing with Myself’ is a spatial study that challenges the way we view our bodies and conventional representations of identity. This study translates bacteria microbial samples into audio-visual data, which are then used to create a projected digital and sonic experience. This interactive experience represents one’s body as bacteria, moving, jumping and dancing alongside ourselves; celebrating the relationship between music and people, and attempting to recontextualise the strange parts of what makes us, us.
