This project aims to restore biodiverse experiences in central Wellington through the use of biophilic spatial design. It proposes a series of public spaces and parks which trace the Waimapihi Stream currently piped underground running from Aro Valley into the Te Aro basin. Seating, pavilion structures, gardens and a daylit stream are deployed in each of the spaces to provide a range of public infrastructure while being linked by a walkway and bicycle lane.
