My photographic series is an exploration of the power of nature to improve psychological well-being in humans. There is a growing need for awareness to be brought to our reciprocal relationship with the earth, prompting the necessary preservation of our natural spaces. These works capture the subtleties in nature that can elicit an emotional response, highlighting the psychological effects surrounding the phenomenology of experience within the context of New Zealand’s natural environment.
