My project explores the issue of sexual revictimisation in Aotearoa. Sexual revictimisation is a social and psychological phenomena, meaning that once a person is subjected to assault they then become twice as likely to experience the same violence again. Through fine art photography and poetry my book encapsulates the different emotional responses and experiences of rape survivors, expressing untold stories while also informing the wider public of this alarming issue.
