My practice is influenced by post-minimalism, I build up layers rather than the traditional paring back associated with minimalism.

I use systems of self-imposed constraints to explore construction processes. Often there are two or more systems within one work that may be in conflict with each other. These relationships are formed through my interests in printmaking, woodworking, painting and drawing. I create a new visual language by bringing together unconventional pairings of processes and materials. My work is the building of simple elements to create an expressive whole.
