Bachelor of Fine Arts with Honours
The interaction between light and landscape inspires my practice as I aim to capture and re-interpret this relationship with acrylic paint. Through the replication of natures colour and sourced spectacular locations, the narrative is provided to the viewer through repetition of layered form. Using transparent pigment gives the composition a subtle transition from the wooden surface to a full pigmented centre, offering material, process and abstraction as a way to contemplate nature.
