Bachelor of Design with Honours
I present an alternative fashion approach; a design method & outcome exploring my relationship with my mother. Starting from a place of intuition & trusting its significance; I had been closer to my mother in the last 18 months than I had in years. By understanding fashion & clothing as relational & affective, and weaving in narrative & emotional motivations, one can better articulate clothing’s cultural, social, & political implications, and practice accordingly.
