Jarred Collins

Left Alone is a coming of age series about a reserved teenage boy who must learn to survive in apocalyptic New Zealand whilst trying to find his way back home after being abandoned by his mother. It is really a story about Thomas's journey to understand if his identity is something that is pre-determined or if it something he can build and reshape as he grows.

I'm a visual effects artist and filmmaker. My role for Left Alone was VFX Supervisor and 1st Camera Assist. I enjoy working onset during productions but often find myself in post-production working in VFX or editing. I can see myself pursuing a career in advertising or music videos as I'm passionate about short-form projects.
